I’ve yet to come across a person who didn’t enjoy a good Belgian waffle.  And we all know Belgian waffles are the way to go. Forget Eggo and sample the fine waffle treats from Wafels & Dinges. This New York food truck is just one of many that you will stop at on your NYC food tours.

Wafels & Dinges is quite simple. First you choose a waffle, such as the light and crispy Brussels Wafel or the de Verdekke waffle ice cream sandwich. If you’re feeling adventurous and prefer a savory waffle over a sweet one, go for the BBQ Pulled Pork Wafel. Yep that’s a waffle with pulled pork and coleslaw on top. Sounds strange but it’s definitely worth a try.

Once you choose a waffle, it’s time for the delectable “dinges,” or things. Choose from toppings such as dulce de leche, walnuts, bananas, strawberries, Nutella, whipped cream, and more. For a mere $2, you can have unlimited dinges, known as WMD –Wafel of Massive Deliciousness. Who could resist that temptation? Naturally you can also choose the classic scoop of vanilla ice cream too.

Thankfully breakfast is acceptable any time of day, so don’t feel so bad about having a waffle smothered in Nutella for lunch, dinner, or a mid-afternoon snack.
